VILHARIA, Slovenia 2026
Adam Hudec is an architect, researcher and artist working at the intersection of architecture, contemporary art and environment. The origins of the project Dusts FREE Chamber are closely tied to Ljubljana – through his research into dust as carrier of the nearly invisible traces left by the urban environment.
In this work, the artist shifts his perspective from the problem (the negative effects of dust on human life) to the solution. Dusts FREE Chamber is therefore conceived as a space of exceptionally clean air, where breathing itself becomes a physical experience. The work highlights a paradox of contemporary society, in which access to clean air can become a privilege, while inviting visitors to reflect on how we care for our shared living environment.
