The diptych NYC 72nd Street, created in 2011 during Juraj Kollár's stay in New York, now forms part of the lobby of the EINPARK Offices in Bratislava.

It captures the famous 72nd Street as a scene glimpsed through a shattered window. At first glance a photograph, in truth the sensation of the city. New York moves quickly, faces disappear — only fragments and flashes remain: the yellow blur of a taxi, a piece of a flag, the flapping coat of someone in motion. Snow, darkness, asphalt, and smoke all blend together in the image.
The city itself isn't fully defined; it's only suggested, as if falling apart and coming together all at once. What remains is the pulse of a metropolis, captured in two parts. Photo credit: Leontína Berková.
