Together, they explored the possibilities and limits of the photographic medium and examined how photographic images shape our perception of reality. The photograph Untitled (Cave) shows a view from inside a cave toward the light outside. The motif of the cave bears rich symbolism throughout the history of both art and philosophy: it can represent a place of birth, transformation, introspection, or spiritual rebirth.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”874882″]

The cave can equally serve as a metaphor for the photographic apparatus and the process itself: a dark, enclosed space where light enters to reveal an image, or as a metaphor for the darkroom. The cave is therefore not simply a motif drawn from the landscape, it is a symbol of the inner world from which we look outward, trying to comprehend the world beyond.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_height_percent=”0″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”0″ bottom_padding=”5″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ column_width_percent=”100″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ uncode_shortcode_id=”125541″][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=”yes” align_horizontal=”align_center” gutter_size=”4″ overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”1/1″ uncode_shortcode_id=”142960″ column_width_pixel=”900″][vc_gallery el_id=”gallery-159948″ type=”justified” medias=”181098,181097,181096,181095,181094,181093,181091″ dynamic=”yes” justify_row_height=”500″ gutter_size=”2″ single_overlay_color=”color-jevc” single_overlay_opacity=”10″ single_text_anim=”no” single_image_anim=”no” single_padding=”2″ single_border=”yes” lbox_skin=”white” lbox_social=”yes” lbox_deep=”yes” lbox_actual_size=”yes” lbox_full=”yes” lbox_download=”yes” lbox_counter=”yes” lbox_no_tmb=”yes” lbox_transition=”lg-zoom-in” uncode_shortcode_id=”108841″][vc_button button_color=”accent” size=”link” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fcorwin.art%2Fen%2Fportfolio%2Fvilharia-structures-of-belonging|title:Vilharia|” uncode_shortcode_id=”153383″ button_color_type=”uncode-palette” icon=”fa fa-arrow-left”]Vilharia Structures of Belonging[/vc_button][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row row_height_percent=”100″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”7″ bottom_padding=”7″ back_color=”color-nhtu” back_image=”181097″ back_position=”center bottom” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ column_width_percent=”100″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ content_parallax=”5″ uncode_shortcode_id=”685965″ back_color_type=”uncode-palette”][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ position_vertical=”middle” […]

"slide_template_v7":"

112,132
post-182805","portfolio","type-portfolio","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","portfolio_category-umelci","portfolio_category-vilharia
["GET
